What is Native Connection? |

We introduce teacher's and instructors to prospective students.
Many English teachers want to teach with their own methods freely without any commercial influences from schools and we also believe that they too can provide students more cost effective lessons than those lager schools. Also many English learners in Japan are wishing to take a lesson privately as they want to invest their money and time efficienlty and effectively without paying for expensive lesson fees, textbooks, or other expenses at English Language Shools.
Native Connection supports not only their improvement in English, but also
our registered teachers. We hope that every teacher enjoys teaching and
meeting new students. |

How much is paid per hour? |
|
IYou choose your own lesson fee. Pricing can range between 2000 to 5000 yen but it is basically up to you. If you like
to increase the no. of students, you should have a convenient price in
the 2000s, however if you feel that you don't need that many students,
but would like some extra cash for the weekend, you could raise it to the
over \4000 mark. But don't expect that many students with a high price! |

Do I need to buy a textbook for a student? |
|
No. But if you know a good book that you would like to use for the lesson
and for the student to use, you can ask the student to buy it. (Amazon.com
is useful! Most Japanese know it and there is no need to go to a store
and purchase a book.) |

In case of a lesson at a cafe, do I need to pay for the drink? |
|
Yes, you should pay for your own food and drinks. |

Can I change my current availability and other aspects of my profile? |
|
Yes, you can make changes with your account and password whenever you please. |

When does the student pay the lesson fee? |
|
The student will pay you after every lesson. |
|
|
|
If I go for a vacation and I cannot instruct a lesson for a while, what
should I do? |
|
Please respond to emails from prospective students and let him/her know
your availability after the vacation or break. |

|
|
If I cannot help leaving from home or stop teaching, what should I do? |
|
Don't worry, students can find other teachers on this web. Simply give
them notice. |

|
Do teacher need Japanese Language skill? |
|
It is up to each student's launguage skill and your policy in teaching. |

Why do I need to visit my profile page once every two months? |
|
To avoid the confusion, we have to find out who is active in teaching and
who is not (who have already left Japan.). Please pay a visit your profile
once every two months at least.
Also in our system, the updated profile get more exposure to potential
students. |
